FROM A SOLDIER WITH A YOUNG CHILD WHO RECEIVED IRR MOBILIZATION ORDERS

IRR Delay and Exemption
Client Testimonial #20 - From a Soldier with a Young Child who received IRR mobilization orders

Getting that package in the mail can be a very humbling experience.  You are cruising along in life, making something of yourself and comfortable.   Then that package comes with orders, telling you to drop everything and return to service.

I was on active duty for five years from 2001-2006.  I was fortunate enough not to serve in Iraq or Afghanistan while on active duty.  I was counting the days till my ETS date.   Since leaving active duty, I have gotten married, bought a home and had a little girl who was six months at the time of my report date.  My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach when I got the orders and I hit the panic button.  I scrambled to the internet looking for any and everything I could find that would help me.  This couldn’t happen, not now.

During my research, I learned of the exemption process and found little to no helpful information on the subject, just more questions from other people in my position.  During one of my Google searches, I found Bill Meili’s website.  I read through the testimonials and reviewed his experience.  I sent him an email, explaining my situation and that night Bill called me.  I didn’t expect him to call so soon or even call at all, maybe an email but not an immediate phone call.

From the get go I was impressed with Bill’s compassion and professionalism.  He took an active interest in my situation.  He understood what I was going through and he wanted to help me.  Through our dealings, Bill returned every email, every phone call and answered every question.  Bill took the time to speak with my wife and calm her fears.  He knew the details of my case, my family and my conditions.   Bill phoned several times and emailed weekly checking in on my progress and giving me updates on how my case was coming along.

Going through this process is stressful and Bill knows this.  The exemption process in not a quick process but Bill was there every step of the way.  When we were ready to submit my exemption case, the attention to detail, the professionalism of the case documents, showed how much Bill cares.  Working with Bill, I knew he had many clients to take care of but he never let that get in the way of taking his time to explain the current situation and providing me with up-to-date information on my case.  We found Bill for a reason and with his tremendous help; we were able to get my exemption.  My family is eternally grateful to Bill and his whole staff.

With something as important as this, do not leave it up to chance, get professional help.  Call Bill right away.  You’ll be better off for it.
